Milk to cost one rupee more in New Delhi
New Delhi, Jan 23: Major suppliers of milk and dairy products in the national capital and adjoining cities, Mother Dairy and Amul will increase the price of milk by a rupee from tomorrow.
This was due to an increase in purchase price of raw milk and milk commodities, Mother Dairy said today.
Amul said this had been done due to an increase in input costs.
A litre of Amul Gold (full cream) would sell at Rs 22 from tomorrow morning compared to Rs 21 till today, Amul Taaza (toned) would sell at Rs 18 from Rs 17 and Amul Slim n Trim (skimmed) at Rs 16 from Rs 15.
Mother Dairy's full cream would sell at Rs 22, standardised milk at Rs 20, toned milk at Rs 18, double toned at Rs 16 and skimmed milk at Rs 14.
