Major fire in Industrial Kama Industrial Estate

Mumbai, Jan 23: A major fire broke out at the Kama Industrial Estate located at Lower Parel in Suburban Mumbai today.

The fire, which broke out at about 0600 hrs, engulfed the neighbouring garment factories and stores, fire control sources said.

Thirty workers, who were trapped inside, managed to escape. The area has been declared out of bound for the people and traffice, sources said.

No casualties have been reported, they added.
