Madhavaperumal Mahasamprokshanam on Jan 29

Chennai, Jan 23: The Mahasamprokshanam of the ancient Madhavaperumal temple at Mylapore in the city, will be held on January 29, according to temple Executive Officer T Chandrasekaran.

In connection with the Mahasamprokshanam, renovation works had been undertaken at a cost of Rs 80 lakh. Th entire amount was borne by a city-based industrialist, he informed.

Stating that the Yagasala poojas would commence at 1700 hrs on January 25, the executive officer said elaborate arrangements have been made to conduct the Mahasamprokshanam.
