LIC Housing Q3 FY07 net rises 31 per cent

New Delhi, Jan 23: LIC Housing Finance Ltd today reported a 30.6 per cent rise in its net profit for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006, at Rs 76.61 crore as compared to Rs 58.65 crore for the corresponding period an year ago.

The company's total income was up by 27.4 per cent to Rs 405.10 crore for the quarter from Rs 318.06 crore for the third quarter of fiscal 2006.
