Kumaraswamy pins hopes on Cauvery tribunal
Mandya, Karnataka, Jan 23 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy today exuded confidence that the final award of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal would be in favour of the State.
Talking to newspersons here, he said the final verdict was expected on February 5.
Referring to the controversy over the move to provide eggs in the mid-day meal scheme for school students, Mr Kumaraswamy denied that the decision to supply milk in lieu of egg was based on the pressure exerted by the religious heads.
