Home guard shot dead, maoists loot huge amount of fire arms

Buxar, Jan 23 (UNI) The maoists have shot dead a home guard and looted a huge quantity of fire arms at Toda village under Itary police station here last night.

Police sources said about 60 extremists attacked 10 home guards deployed at a bridge being constructed by Bihar Police Building Construction Corporation.

They said the deceased Suman Ram died on the spot while two others sustained serious injuries in the attack.

Later, the extremists looted a huge quantity of ammunition from them.

Raids were on to nab them, police said.
