Hold election to the party chief: Bhabra
Jaipur, Jan 23 (UNI) Former BJP state party president and Deputy Chief Minister Hari Shanker Bhabra today blamed the central party leadership for the ''undue delay'' in the announcement of the state chief, and called for holding an election to the post.
Talking to mediapersons today, he said the unnecessary interference of the central party leadership has complicated the leadership issue in the state. ''If the party leadership could not decide on a leader by consensus, it shold hold elections to the post,''he said. adding that he preferred an elected president to a nominated one as he could be more assertive and strong.
The delay in the announcement of the party chief has been doing damage to the party, Mr Bhabra claimed.
