Chennai, Jan 23 (UNI) IT services major Helios&Matheson Information Technology Ltd today reported an 80 per cent increase in its income for Q3 ending December 31, 2006 to Rs 102.04 crore, over the corresponding period last year.

A company release here said the company's net profit also grew to Rs 15.56 crore compared to Rs 10.14 crore in Q3 FY 06, an increase of 54 per cent.

Income for nine months ending December 31, 2006 was Rs 286.16 crore, an increase of 80 per cent over the corresponding period last year while operating profit grew 51 per cent to Rs 60.99 crore in the same period.
