Delayed telecast of India-Windies series on DD
New Delhi, Jan 23: In an interim order, the Delhi High Court today directed Prasar Bharti to telecast the India-West Indies ODI series in a delayed transmission of seven minutes on Doordarshan and allowed All India Radio to broadcast the commentary live.
After hearing arguments, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul said a delayed telecast of seven minutes which consumes two overs will solve the purpose in the public interest.
Directing Prasar Bharti and the centre to file their replies, the court posted the matter for a hearing on February 8.
