Geelani's personnel sec, driver arrested in JK

Srinagar, Jan 23: Jammu and Kashmir police has arrested Malik Noor Reyaz, personnel secretary of chairman of the breakaway Hurriyat Conference (HC) Syed Ali Shah Geelani, his driver and cook.

HC spokesman Ayaz Akbar said Malik, driver Farooq Ahmad and cook Manzoor Ahmad were arrested by the police from Thathri in Doda district of the Jammu region last night.

He said no reasons were given by the police for their arrest.

Malik had gone to see his family members along with Geelani's driver and cook when they were arrested, he said, adding Mr Geelani had left for Delhi yesterday from Jammu.
