Black buck case adjourned till Feb 6; Pataudi appears in court
Faridabad, Jan 23 (UNI) The Environment Court here has adjourned till February 6 the black buck case in which eight people including Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, were chargesheeted, sources said today.
Environment Court Judicial Magistrate Rajender Singh Danda heard the arguments yesterday.
Nawab Pataudi was chargesheeted by the Environment Conservation Police for killing a black buck in Jhajhar in Haryana in June 2005, in violation of the environment norms.
A Public Interest Litigation was filed by Naresh Kadyian, PSA President, in 2005. The NGO is being run by environmentalist Maneka Gandhi, sources said.
Nawab Pataudi was also present in the court during the hearing.
