Action plan to develop tourism in Uttara Kannada
Sirsi, Karnataka, Jan 23 (UNI) Karnataka Small Scale Industries Minister Shivananda Nayak today said a Rs five crore action plan for development of tourism infrastructure in Uttara Kannada district has been sent to the Government for approval.
Speaking at the Uttara Kannada district quarterly review meeting here, he said lots of tourism spots in the district were yet to be tapped. Another action plan for Rs five crore would be prepared for tourism development in the district and sent to the Government.
A compact disc, highlighting tourist places of the district, had been brought out. The CD, 'Uttara Kannada Namma Mane' (Uttara Kannada is our house), was showed to mediapersons and district officials present in the review meeting.
