Accused will not be spared: Ahmed Hassan
Allahabad, Jan 23: Uttar Pradesh Family Welfare Minister Ahmed Hassan today said the accused in the alleged gang rape of two girl students at a 'madarsa' would not be spared.
" The incident is quite shameful. It is a slur on our society. Even I want a quick impartial investigation in the case. One thing I want to make clear that the most stringent action would be taken against the accused whosoever he might be.'' ''Some political parties are unnecessarily politicising the case, said Ahmed.
"I fail to understand that how can one play with such a sensitive issue just for the sake of vote bank,'' Mr Hasan alleged.
On January 17, posing as policemen, armed miscreants stormed into a 'madarsa' in Kareily area and assaulted the two girl students.
