7 murder accused get life terms

Pratapgarh, Jan 23 (UNI) A local court here today awarded life imprisonment to seven murder accused in the district.

According to prosecution, on June 11, 1998, Ravi Pal Singh of Nanvada Kala village, was beaten to death by Surendra Bahadur Singh, Surya Bhan, Ram Harak Singh, Subhash Singh, Keshav Prasad, Satish Singh and Kanshi Prasad Singh over a dispute in Antu area.

On basis of testimony, Additional District and Sessions Judge (I) sentenced all the accused, to life imprisonment besides imposing a penalty of Rs 500 each.
