Voice Snap launches software on Carnatic music

Chennai, Jan 22: Voice Snap, a Chennai based Software Company has launched a software 'Voice Snap VS2' to help Carnatic music enthusiasts who are in different stages of learning, evaluate their knowledge in rendering carnatic music.

The software, which is the first of its kind, guides the users at different level in the carnatic music field to evaluate the student's learning and knowledge, a company press release said here today The Chief Executive Officer of Voice Snap, Ganesh Padmanabhan said the software will be useful for everyone, especially for those who have an interest in pursuing carnatic music learning and to send in their rendering to the exponent listed in the website.

Renderings can include Sarali, Janda varisai, Alankaram, Geetham, Swarajithi, Varnam, Krithis, Javalis, Raga aalapana and Niravale.

Mr Padmanabhan said a student needs a computer with Internet connection and with Voice Snap's VS2 installed.

Voice Snap has a free version on their website for this campaign, he said adding sender's voice clip was evaluated and appropriate feedback was sent directly to the sender of the voice through VS2.

Feedback may include suggestion, tip for improvement, guidance, corrections and advice to enhance their learning.
