Two employees of Health

Bangalore, Jan 22 (UNI) Two employees of Karnataka Health and Family Department were caught red-hand by Lokayukta sleuths while accepting bribe for showing official favour here today.

According to a release here, First Division Assistant Manjunath Kutta and B L Manjunath were arrested while accepting Rs 5,000 as birbe for issuing appointment order to Ms Deepa who had been selected for Auxillary Nursing Maid in the department.

Kutta had collected first instalment of Rs 5,000 of the total Rs 10,000 he had demanded. But when he insisted for payment of second instalment, Mr Ramudasegowda, a relative of Ms Deepa, approached Lokayukta and filed a complaint.
