Transporters' call off proposed strike

New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) The All India Motor Transport Congress (AIMTC) today conveyed its decision to the Finance Minister P Chidambaram that it has called off the proposed nationwide Trade Bandh from January 20, said an official release issued here.

The AIMTC also expressed its gratitude to Mr Chidambaram for resolving the issue of limiting the increase of Third Party Insurance Cover (TPIC) up to 70 per cent for the benefit of transporters.
