Temperatures normal over most parts of the country

Pune, Jan 22 (UNI) Cold wave conditions prevailed in northwest Rajasthan and at isolated places in Haryana and Punjab.

Night temperatures were below normal in Jammu&Kashmir, south interior Karnataka, some parts of Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, remaining parts of Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and in some parts of Assam and Meghalaya.

They were above normal in coastal Orissa, south Chattisgarh, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, some parts of Gujarat and in remaining parts of Assam and Meghalaya.

Temperatures were normal over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Tamil Nadu and Andman and Nicobar Islands.Mainly dry weather will prevail over the Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand Bihar,Gujrat State,Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra,Marathwada,Andhra Pradesh,Karnataka,Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Rain or thundershowers have occured at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh,Assam and Meghalaya,Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.Mainly dry weather prevailed over Nagaland,Manipur,Mizoram, Tripura,Gangetic West Bengal,Orissa,Jharkhand and Bihar.
