Temperature dips to minus 2.2 Degrees at Adampur
Jalandhar, Jan 22 (UNI) The cold wave again intensified in Punjab with the minimum temperature again plummeting to minus 2.2 degrees Celsius at the Adampur airport last night.
An official spokesman, quoting Air Force Met Centre data, said the entire border state and adjoining regions were reeling under an intense cold wave with a majority of the places recording below normal temperatures last night.
Amritsar recorded the minimum temperature of 0.7 degrees while Ludhiana (Halwara airport) was cold at 1.4 degrees. The minimum in Pathankot was 3.4 degrees.
The cold wave conditions are likely to persist for the next two days.
