SR to run Chennai-Nagercoil specials

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 22 (UNI) Southern Railways will run special trains between Chennai and Nagercoil in view of the heavy rush during Moharram and Republic Day.

The Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil special will leave Chennai Egmore at 2015 hrs on January 25 and 27 and arrive at Nagercoil at 1045 hrs the next day, a release said here.

In the return direction Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore special will leave Nagercoil at 1330 hrs on January 24, 26 and 30 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 0430 hrs the next day.

The Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil special -- will leave Chennai Egmore at 1900 hrs on January 23 and 29 and arrive at Nagercoil at 0815 hrs the next day. In the return direction the special will leave Nagercoil at 2030 hrs on January 28 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 0930 hrs the next day.

The Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore special will leave Nagercoil at 2030 Hrs on January 23 and 27 and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0930 hrs the next day. In the return direction it will leave Chennai Egmore at 2015 hrs on January 24 and 28 and arrive in Nagercoil at 1045 hrs the next day.

Another special train, the Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore special will leave Nagercoil at 2030 hrs on January 29 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 0930 hrs the next day. In the return direction it will leave Chennai Egmore at 1900 hrs on January 30 and arrive in Nagercoil at 0815 hrs the next day.

On January 25, Nagercoil-Chennai Egmore special will leave Nagercoil at 2030 hrs and arrive in Chennai Egmore at 0915 hrs the next day. In the return direction, it will leave Chennai Egmore at 2000 hrs on January 26 and arrive at Nagercoil at 1045 hrs, the next day, the release added.
