Polaris records Q3 revenues of Rs 274 cr

Chennai, Jan 22 (UNI) Leading software consultants for application development in Banking and Financial Services, Polaris Software Lab Limited revenues grew 7.2 per cent from Rs 255.57 crore in Q2 '06-07' to Rs 273.97 crore in Q3 '06-07.' For the third consecutive quarter, the company has shown a double-digit quarter-on-quarter Profit After Tax (PAT) growth. The PAT has grown by 19.12 per cent from 27.10 crore in the previous quarter to 32.29 crore in Q3, the company said in a release here today.

Compared to the same quarter last year (Q3 '05-06), the revenues were up by 34.77 per cent from Rs 203.28 crore to Rs 273.97 crore.

During the first nine months of this fiscal year, the Earnings (PAT) of the company zipped by 315 per cent from Rs 19.18 crore to Rs 79.67 crore and the revenues zoomed from Rs 626.22 crore to Rs 761.59 crore, compared to the same period last year.

The company declared an interim dividend of 20 per cent for the financial year 2006-2007, the release added.
