One killed, 3 hurt in Nadiad road mishap, 1 killed on highway

Nadiad(Kheda dist), Jan 22 (UNI) A man died and three were injured when a jeep overturned yesterday night on the Mehmadavad-Ahmedabad road.

Bababhai Somabhai Chauhan died on the spot while three people have been hospitalised.

While in another incident, a man walking on the highway was killed near Ambica Petrol pump at Vasad village yesterday night by a Maruti van in a hit and run case.

Venubhai Gokalbhai Solanki died on the spot, police said.

Further investigation is on.
