Nucleus Software Q3 net up 58 pc at Rs 13.94 cr

New Delhi, Jan 22: Nucleus Software Exports Ltd, global provider of software products for banking and financial sector, today posted 58.05 per cent increase in its net profit at Rs 13.94 crore in Q3FY07, against Rs 8.82 crore over the same period last year.

Nucleus Software's consolidated revenue for the same quarter grew by 50.21 per cent at Rs 56.18 crore as compared to Rs 37.40 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal.

For the nine months ending December 31, 2006, consolidated revenues increased by 51.97 per cent to Rs 161.03 crore, as against Rs 105.96 crore during the first nine months of the previous fiscal.

The consolidated net profit during April-December 2006 rose by 57.37 per cent to Rs 41.20 crore from Rs 26.18 crore during April-December 2005.

Nucleus Software recently bagged a contract from Japan-based consumer finance company ACOM Co Ltd to implement FinnOneTM and PowerCARD and offshore development services to be offered from India.

Presently, Nucleus with its flagship product FinnOneTM has over 134 clients across the globe in the domestic retail banking and financial space with clients spanning among most leading banks and non banking institutions in India.
