NRI's House burgled in Nadiad

Nadiad, Jan 22 (UNI) Burglars broke into the house of a NRI late yesterday night at Jalbhoomi society on the College road here.

Mr Prafulbhai Ishvarbhai Patel had gone to his wife's Salun village when thieves broke into his house decamping with Rs 12,000 in cash; dollars worth 4,000 and gold ornaments all amounting to Rs 2.5 lakhs.

Mr Patel had come to his home town on January 6, 2007 on a short visit. He was planning to leave next week. Nadiad town police is investigating.
