Mercury plummets in parts of AP

Hyderabad, Jan 22 (UNI) Night temperature dipped in parts of Andhra Pradesh in the last 24 hours as dry weather prevailed over the state.

The minimum temperatures fell at a few places over Coastal Andhra Pradesh. But rose at one or two places over Telangana and changed little over Rayalaseema, the weather office said.

They were below normal at a few places over Rayalaseema but above normal at a few places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, the weather office informed.

The lowest minimum temperature of 12 degree Celcius was recorded at Arogyavaram.

Mainly dry weather was likely to prevail over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Rayalaseema.

Hyderabad would have mainly clear sky. Minimum temperature was likely to be around 17 degree Celcius.
