Loksatta asks govt to release funds for welfare hostels

Hyderabad, Jan 22 (UNI) Loksatta Party National Convenor Jayaprakash Narayana today asked the state government to release funds for welfare hostels immediately.

According to a press release here, Mr Nayarayana pointed out the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) report 'indicted' the government for not spending the budgetary allocation on welfare hostels.

Asking the govenrment improve the facilities in the hostels, he said the government also provide medical care to poor students besides serving quality food.
