Kitovi tenders apology to Nagas, Rio
Kohima, Jan 22(UNI) NSCN(K) "Ato Kilonser" N Kitovi Zhimomi has apologised to fellow Nagas, particularly Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and his family, for the "unethical acts" committed by the members of the outfit.
In a release here today, the "Ato Kilonser" or "Prime Minister" tendered apology as his outfit members had committed "unethical." The NSCN(K) had threatened to kill Mr Rio and his family members, if he provided security to NSCN-IM General Secretary T H Muivah.
He said that the root cause behind this threat was factionalism in all spheres which degraded the innate inter-personal chains of brotherhood.
He expressed deep concern over the issue and pledged to shoulder the task of ushering peace with solemn affirmation to the people and to the motherland despite challenges ahead.
NSCN-IM Chairman Isak Chishi Swu and Muivah have already come to Nagaland and were camping in the Camp Hebron, about 40 kms away from Dimapur.
