J&K Bank Q3 net up 39.63 pc to Rs 84 crore

Mumbai, Jan 22 (UNI) Jammu&Kashmir Bank has posted a net profit of Rs 83.89 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 50.64 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005, a rise of 39.63 per cent.

Announcing the results, the bank said its total income has increased from Rs 446.72 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2005 to Rs 500.96 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2006.
