Sultanpur, Jan 22 (UNI) Samajwadi Party (SP) general secretary and MP Beni Prasad Verma today said notwithstanding ''misunderstanding'' with SP supremo and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav in the case of a party leader's murder, he was always ready to talk to him after January 25.

On December 28, SP zila panchayat member Ram Bhoolan Verma was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Dallapurva area in Bahraich.

On January 17, Mr Verma had announced he would not talk to Mr Yadav, since no action had been taken against state labour minister Waqar Ahmad Shah, who he charged was involved.

''I have a lot to say but I will say it directly to the CM. Just now, I do not want to disturb Mr Yadav. Let him do whatever 'important' works he has till January 25,'' he told mediapersons here.

''After the vote on the motion of thanks on the governor's address in the house on January 25, I will talk to Mr Yadav and demand action against the labour minister--the prime acussed in the case,'' Mr Verma maintained.
