Guj BJP president accuses Congress of minority appeasement

Rajkot, Jan 22 (UNI) Gujarat BJP president Puruhottam Rupala today accused the Congress of indulging in minority appeasement by recruiting minority community in banks, railways and central police organisations.

''It was unfortunate on the Congress part to provide job on the religious ground rathar than on economic ground,'' Mr Rupala told reporters.

Replying to another question, he said, he would draw the attention of Gujarat government regarding ''law and order'' situation in the state.

Talking about the personnel shortage in the police force, he said that the department had launched the recruitment drive to reduce the short fall of staff.
