Girl child freed from her abductor

Hoshiarpur, Jan 22 (UNI) Police here rescued a seven-year-old girl abducted by a Manipuri youth in village Rakri.

The Hazipur Police arrested Khela under section 364 of the IPC last evening after rescuing Suneha from his clutches.

Suneha, while returning along with her four-year-old sister Shivani from the fields, was abducted by Khela.

When Shivani told her father, Davinder Kumar that the kidnapper had gone towards Jhir Di Khui, he immediately informed the police and intercepted Khela near Jhir Di Khui, police said.

Davinder Kumar handed over Khela to the police accusing that he had abducted his daughter with an intention of killing.
