Executive committee declares Delhi Bar Association elections void

New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) The Executive Committee of New Delhi Bar Association, which met here today, declared the recent elections to the association as ''null and void'' The meeting, chaired by President Madanlal, was attended by Vice-President Bhupender Singh, Secretary Raju Dudani Treasurer Sanjeev Beniwal and other members. During the meeting the members discussed the resignation of Returning Officer and member of the Election Committee Motilal Jain and about the several compliants of bogus voting during the election.

After considering the sect of facts and circumstances, the Executive Committee declared the elections to New Delhi Bar Association, held on January 19, 2007, as null and void and rescheduled it.

The committee also decided to conduct the election with the help of the senior members in the near future and called the General Body Meeting for further action.
