CPI(ML) to mobilise mass struggle against globalisation-Sanyal
Bhubaneswar, Jan 22 (UNI) CPI(ML) general secretary and naxalbadi movement leader Kanu Sanyal today said his party would mobilise and organise a mass struggle against the imperialist companies eying on rich minerals of the country and trying to loot the internal market through SEZ.
Mr Sanyal told newsmen here that his party rejected the parliamentary practice and wanted to use the legality to mobilise and organise for a mass struggle with the help of true communist forces.
He said presently in the name of rapid industralisation and the SEZ, the government, be it the UPA, NDA or the Left Front combinations had become the compradors of the imperialist forces and corporate companies playing the role of paid killers.
'' Our slogan is land to the tiller but the government slogan is land to the companies, '' he said adding this scene was more common in Orissa, Chattishgarh and Jharkhand where mines and khadans of minerals were abundant.
The governments in these states were very active in handing over the mines to the industrial houses by destroying the agriculture and evicting the peasants and adivasis, the CPI(ML) Leader remarked.
This action of the governments had led to a series of opposition and resistance in the country from the people as reflected in the sacrifice of people in Chilka, Maikanch, Lanjigarh and Kalinga Nagar in Orissa.
