Delhi: Conference of Kannadigas in April
New Delhi, Jan 22: The two-day 24th All India Conference of Kannada speaking people will begin held here on April 7.
The Conference organised by 'Dehali Kannadiga', a monthly, has various sessions on Kannada language, literature, culture, poets meet, women issues, linguistic and inter-state harmony and book exhibition. The purpose is to have more focus on Kannada and culture involving all sections of Kannadigas, Dehali Kannadiga editor M B Samaga said in a release.
Over 2000 people from all over the country including writers, artists, teachers and academics are taking part in the meet, he said.
