Chennai-Coimbatore special train

Chennai, Jan 22 (UNI) Union Minister of State for Railways R Velu today ordered special trains on Chennai Central-Coimbatore section to clear the extra rush of passengers in connection with the Republic Day and ''Moharam'' festival.

A Southern Railway release here today said the Chennai Central-Coimbatore special train would leave here at 2220 hrs on January 24, 26 and 28 and reach Coimbatore at 0715 hrs, the next day.

In its return direction, the trains would leave Coimbatore at 2345 hrs on January 25, 27 and 29.

Another special train to Coimbatore would leave here at 2200 hrs on January 27 and reach Coimbatore at 0815 hrs the next day.

Reservation for these trains would commence tomorrow, the release added.
