Cadila Healthcare posts 22.37pc net profit

New Delhi, Jan 22: Cadila Healthcare Ltd today showed 22.37 per cent rise in its net profit at Rs 52.5 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2006 as compared to Rs 42.9 crore during the corresponding period last fiscal.

The company's total income (net of excise) has increased by 14.69 per cent to Rs 382.5 crore for the quarter from Rs 333.5 crore over the same period last year.

While 66.14 per cent consolidated growth has been seen in its net profit to Rs 65.9 crore in Q3FY07 against Rs 39.6 crore during the same period last year.

Cadila Healthcare had received approval from USFDA for the launch of Simvastatin tablets 5 mg, 10 mg, 20 mg, 40 mg and 80 mg in the US market.
