Hisar, Jan 22 (UNI) It would need a braveheart to garland Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose's statue here on his 110th Birth Anniversary tomorrow as the person could well be rewarded by stings.

A swarm of the bees is buzzing around the statue as a huge beehive has come up under its right armpit, a telling sign of the neglect by local authorities.

''No one dares come near the statue for quite some time due to fear of the bees for sometime now and despite repeated complaints, the authorities have not done anything to remove the beehive,'' a local resident said.

''We were hoping that due to official function tomorrow, the statue will be cleaned today but its evening now and the bees continue to hover over their hive,'' another resident added.

Meanwhile, the Administration, many organisations and political parties have announced to pay tributes to Netaji by garlanding the statue tomorrow.

It remains to be seen whether the leaders will brave the bees.
