New Delhi, Jan 22 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party National Secretary and former Union Minister Vijay Goel dubbed new Master Plan 2021 today as 'Disaster Plan'.

Talking to mediapersons, he said the new plan was too late and too little. He dared Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit for an open discussion over the plan.

Early notification of the plan could have saved 44,000 people from the sealing, he regretted adding that the plan was a poll gimmick at best. The MCD elections are at hand.

He called upon the people to vote out the Congress government.

Chief Minister's credentials are in doubt, according to him, because the plan has not provided any relief for those hit by the sealing.

Besides, the Congress has yet to come clean on promising full statehood and creating three new corporations last year, Goel alleged. The new plan is long on promise, but short on sight, according to him.

Reading the plan one can't help feeling pity for the government, Goel said. The words in the new plan have been so phrased as to be struck down by the Supreme Court, he alleged. The DDA blissfully turned blind to 110 suggestions forwarded by the Legislative Assembly, he alleged wondering over, what he called, a futile exercise.
