BJP demands joint military operation to dismantle ISI camps
Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 22 (UNI) BJP president Rajnath Singh today demanded a joint military operation by India and Pakistan to dismantle the ISI training centers in Pakistan.
Addressing a media conference here, he suggested that India should move in this direction in the wake of a joint action against terrorists framed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf.
Alleging that Pakistan's ISI was playing an important role in spreading terrorism in the country and the world, Mr Singh suggested that the United Nations should bring ISI activities under international watch.
He also suggested a similar joint military action with Bangladesh, as terrorist training camps were also functioning in that country.
On media reports about the move to pull out military from the Siachen glacier, he said the government should not take such a decision, as it would help the terrorists to cross the borders easily.
Hence before taking such a decision, the government should discuss the matter with military officials, he said.
