Baghdad bombing kills 55, wounds 75 -police

BAGHDAD, Jan 22 (Reuters) A double car bombing near central Baghdad's crowded Bab al-Sharji market killed 55 people and wounded 75, police sources said.

It was the bloodiest attack since 70 people were killed in a double bombing outside a Baghdad university six days ago.
