Srinagar, Jan 22: One more security force personnel has committed suicide in the Kashmir valley despite the introduction of ''Art of living and Yoga'' to help them recover from the stress.

Official sources said panic gripped the Raj Bhawan here when a Border Security Force (BSF) jawan of 143 battalion identified as Nishad C P shot himself with his service weapon late last night.

However, before he could be shifted to hospital, Nishad died, sources added.

The Governor and his entire staff have shifted to Jammu for the six winter months.

More than a dozen security personnel have committed suicide in Jammu and Kashmir during the past six months.

As many, including some officers were also killed by their colleagues during the same period.

Sources said introducing Art of living and holding Yoga classes have hardly made things better for the security force Jawans who are working under severe stress.

How can you expect a jawan to relax after doing 18 hours of duty, sources said adding that hardly anybody is ready to join the yoga classes after doing hard duty.

They said family disputes are the main reason which compels a security force jawan to take this extreme step.

However, the long-duty-hours and other service-related matters also added to their problems.
