AAI imposes 5-day ban on entry to Chennai airports

Chennai, Jan 22: The Airports Authority of India (AAI) imposed a five-day ban on visitors entry into the Kamaraj Domestic Airport and Anna International Airport here as a preventive measure to avoid any untoward incident in connection with the Republic Day Celeberations on January 26.

AAI sources said apart from the enhanced security arrangements, the ban was imposed with effect from today till the January 26 midnight.
