Woman arrested for killing her husband

Anand, Jan 21 (UNI) A woman was arrested from her Ahmedabad residence by Nadiad rural police for killing her husband, whose body was recovered from Kamra village near Nadiad in Kheda district yesterday.

According to Heeraben's confession, she had mixed poison in a glass of wine on January 18 and gave it to her husband Rupabhai Amrabhai Jadhav. Subsequently, she put his body in a drum, sealed it and threw it in a field in Kamra village.

She also admitted that one Parbat Tomar had helped her to bring the body to the village.

Heeraben stays at Jasodanagar in Vatva GIDC in Ahmedabad and her husband worked as a watchman at Vanij Bhavan near Kankaria lake in Ahmedabad after retiring from the army three years ago.
