Two kg RDX, 48 AK rounds recovered in Jammu

Jammu, Jan 21: Jammu and Kashmir police have recovered two kg RDX and 48 live bullets of AK rifles from the bank of the river Tawi, senior police officer today said.

SSP Jammu, Mukesh Singh told sources that besides explosives, two meter fuse wire and four pencil cells were also recovered at Belicharana on the bank of river tawi late yesterday.

The police officer, however, turned down any possible link of the recovery with the ensuing Republic Day celebrations at the winter capital of the state. ''We are investingating the matter.'' Meanwhile, the police have also picked up some suspect in the case.
