Tatamuri Express rams matador, 2 women killed, 5 injured

Jammu, Jan 21 (UNI) Two women were killed and five others seriously injured when a matador in which they were travelling collided with Tatamuri Express on its way from Jammu to Hatia, Jharkhand, at Sansa Morh in Kathua district this afternoon, official sources said.

Kathua police said the matador was crossing the railway line via an open crossing at 1600 hrs when the train rammed it.

While two women Sudesh Kumari and Rita Devi died on the spot, those injured were admitted to Hiranagar Government Hospital.

The condition of three is said to be critical.
