Several wounded in road accidents in Kashmir
Srinagar, Jan 21 (UNI) Several people were wounded in separate road accidents in the Kashmir valley today, police said.
They said a matador turned turtle near a petrol pump at Puthkhah in Sopore area of Baramulla district in north Kashmir when the driver lost control over the vehicle.
Several passengers were wounded in the accident. They have been shifted to hospitals, police added.
A Tata Sumo hit and wounded two pedestrians at Bijbehara on the Srinagar-Jammu national highway in Anantnag district of south Kashmir today. The wounded, identified as Shabir Ahmad Bhat and Latief Ahmad Ganai, have been shifted to a hospital.
In another incident, a Maruti car hit and critically wounded Sadiq Ahmad Dar at Rangar Chadoora in Badgam district.
The wounded was admitted to the SMHS hospital here from where he had been shifted to the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Soura.
