Seven injured in wall collapse at Jharkhand Bhawan in Delhi
New Delhi, Jan 21 (UNI) At least seven people were injured today when a wall of the Jharkhand Bhawan in a South Delhi area collapsed during construction work at the basement.
At 1225 hours, as construction work was going on in the basement of Jharkhand Bhawan, located adjacent to Mizoram Bhawan at Vasant Vihar, a temporary wall erected for construction work collapsed, burying about ten labourers under it, fire brigade sources said.
Fire brigade personnel, who immediately rushed to the spot with seven vehicles, rescued seven labourers who are admitted to a nearly hospital. Efforts were on to rescue about three others from the debris, the sources added.
