Policemen attacked by vehicle lifters
Indore, Jan 21 (UNI) Six people, who were accused of lifting vehicles, today attacked and injured policemen at Padrinath police station here and fled, police said.
The accused, who were locked up, attacked policemen present at the police station with rods. Two other police officials, who just reached the police station, were also attacked.
Head Constable Ram Singh Bhadauria and constable Raju Singh Bhadauria received serious head injuries. Both were admitted to the Maharaja Yashwant Rao Hospital.
Constable Shobharam was discharged after being given primary treatment.
Superintendent of Police Anshuman Yadav said the matter was being investigated and action would be taken against responsible officials for negligence.
