Pandit Bazaz recovering at AIIMS, to be discharged soon

Srinagar, Jan 21 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Forum (JKDF) president Pandit Bhushan Bazaz, who suffered sudden haemorrage of eyes on January six, is recovering at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.

He was in Jammu to attend a seminar on the Kashmir issue when the attack of subfoveal choroidal neovascular membrane (CNVM) occurred.

Pandit Bazaz was later airlifted to Delhi and admitted to the Dr Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences at AIIMS where he underwent immediate operation of eyes.

A large number of people from all walks of life had expressed serious concern over his deteriorating health condition.

A JKDF release here said Pandit Bazaz would soon be discharged from the AIIMS.
