One person killed, four injured in train accident
Nalgonda, Andhra Pradesh, Jan 21 (UNI) One person was killed on the spot and four seriously injured when the Nagarjuna Express train in which they were travelling hit a Tata Sumo at an unmanned level crossing near Tipparthi today.
Police said the Secunderabad bound train from Guntur hit the Sumo which was stranded on the railway track at the unmanned level crossing. The victims were sitting near the door of the train when the mishap occured.
The injured were taken to Nalgonda Government Hospital.
The front portion of the Sumo was damaged, police added.
